Miyazaki Returns (Again)

Just months after The Boy and the Heron won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, rumors are swirling that Hayao Miyazaki is already working on his next concept.

What Could It Be?

Details are scarce, but Toshio Suzuki, Ghibli's producer, hinted in a recent interview that Miyazaki "can't stop drawing."

"He calls me every day with new ideas," Suzuki laughed. "I thought he would rest, but he is more energetic than ever."

Speculation ranges from a short film for the Ghibli Museum to another full-length feature. Given the director's history of "un-retiring," fans are optimistic.
