Bandai Namco has reported that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has become the fastest-selling game in the franchise's history.

Nostalgia Wins

The game, which returns to the arena-fighter gameplay of the beloved Budokai Tenkaichi series, has been praised for its massive roster of over 180 characters and destructible environments.

"We knew fans were waiting for this," said the game's director. "We wanted to give them everything they dreamed of."

DLC plans include characters from the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima series.
